Boddington Gold Mine Expansion
Thompson Surveying Consultants have been engaged on site at Boddington Gold Mine since February 2007.
Some of the work undertaken has been:
- Water management of north and south pits
- Construction of 4 pumping stations
- Construction of 45km of poly piping
- Construction of 18 km steel tight liner piping
- Construction of Booster Station
Thompson Surveying Consultants were responsible for all quantities, volumes and as-constructed surveys during the initial construction phase.
Since commissioning of the Mine our Company have also been engaged by Boddington Gold Mine to be audit surveyors on the expansion of the residue areas. This requires control of all contractor claims and quantities. The work in the residue area is on going over the life of the mine.
