Thompson Surveying Consultants are excited to be involved in Landcorp's Bunbury Waterfront Project.
This development aims to provide a world class waterfront development for the unofficial capital of the fast growing South West Region. The intention is transform almost 5 kilometres of waterfront into improved public waterfront, a marina, better beaches, visitor accommodation, housing and retail and commercial areas. This development has the potential to encourage large investment in the Bunbury area as well as generate thousands of jobs during the construction phase. Upon completion of each stage, it is expected that the new Waterfront will prove a popular tourist attraction and there will be many follow on benefits for the Bunbury Region.
Thompson’s role to date has involved providing information with regards to land tenure issues as well as completing a feature and contour survey over the Stage 1 Precinct, re-establishment of existing boundaries over the site and placement of permanent recoverable control marks for future construction has also been of paramount importance.
